We are new owners for a year now.  We were just made aware of the 2% tax that the management company collects on rental days and is supposed to be payed by the company to the Hacienda on a monthly or bi-mionthly schedule.

Recently, we were told that we needed to get a Hacienda tax ID before these taxes can be paid, yet we were never told about this requirement.  Are we just naive or do other owners know about this and we just dropped some invisable ball?

Thanks for any info...we just want to do the right thing.
