We believe some have applied to build built in BBQ's We also understand some may have been turned down. There is a formal application process and we are not certain, at this point in time, if there are any written guidelines about, style, location, design and placement. There are 2 styles of Villas - the 3 bedroom Presidente's and the 4 bedroom Reyna's. As well each style is reversed. Some feel that for the sake of harmony and symmetry, that the design, location and placement should be somewhat restricted. A suggestion is that we, the Villa owners, come up with 4 or 5 basic designs and determine: 1) Placement - Left or right side when facing the buildings 2) Location - where on the lot should they be placed These are my observations: Placement - Presidente's Villa's #1 - #5 Left side - (Villa #1 could be the exception as they may want to build against the existing Sonoran Resort wall.) Villa 5 has set a precedent, by building a partially finished unit on the left side. In talking to other owners of units 1-5 the left side appears to be the logical place. Villa's 16 - 20 (Presidente reverse plan) Right side - (Villa #20 could be the exception as they may want to build against the existing Bella Sirena wall) Villa's #17 & 19 have set a precedent by building one finished and one unfinished built in. Villa #18 has a rough in on the right side. Villa #20 has a rough in on the Bella Sirena side. Location: - Presidente's Villa # 5 has set a precedent by building under or partially under the upstairs patio. Villa #17 & 19 have also built under or partially under the upstairs patio Villa's #18 & 20 have rough in's under the upstairs patio. Logic says: 1) The Presidente's, placement:: a) 2 - 5 should be placed on the left side b) 1 could be placed on either side, preferably on the right, to be symmetrical with the roughed in #20 b) 16 - 20 should be located on the right side, #20 being the exception. 2) The Presidente's, location a) All under or partially under the upstairs patio or b) In the case of those without the extended roof - in a location as if they had the extended roof. Villa's # 6 - #10, based upon where they seem to be used, not stored: a) Right side Villa's #11 - #15, based upon where they seem to be used, not stored: b) Left side Any thoughts or input?
